Thoughts on the RTX 2070 Super Ventus OC?

Looking at a 2070 super Ventus OC, thoughts on it pls

Nice price point for the 2070 Super but that color though and fans though ...

Good for cold rooms maybe, which is largely not australia

Really good card, I think it’s reference pcb on the ventus which is good because later you could upgrade the cooler to a g12 NZXT bracket and 280 rad and have insane cooling and over potential

so basically you get the card for the card, not the PCB? I dont think MSI wont cut down anything though even if I have no proof

Doesn’t have to necessarily have to be a Ventus OC, just wondering what the thoughts were on it. What other 2070 supers would you guys recommend?

EVGA XC Ultra, MSI Gaming X, Asus Dual, Zotac Amp, Gigabyte 3 fan, Palit Jetstream etc, pretty much all are more than 2 fan or 2 slot thick

Yeah because the Ventus is probly the best reference design pcb card out 

 

if op were looking at say a trio ftw3 or strix then it would be a different story

It's not a reference PCB, notice how it's taller than the PCIe bracket. The line of VRM on the right is taller than the reference card

USB Type-C, you can see it on the reference and higher end custom models on I think all 20 series cards

Yea looked it up, i'm still using USB-A type hardwares. Just wondering, how come they left it out of this card?

cut cost, and to reach down to lower price points.
