Do RX 5700's (non XT) typically get this hot???

Junction temps can get this high, though it's rather poor.

What brand and model of this card you have? Also just to be sure you can verify using other software as well.

Its a xfx rx 5700. I was running gow5 at 150% resolution. On 1080 res, it seemed to be staying around 89-90C. I haven't experienced any crashes yet, but I typically play at 1080 settings where gpu usage usually doesnt go over 50-60% for long.

 

On the other hand, my cpu temps rarely exceed 60C.

Also noticed this...yeah, I think my readings are a little off...LOL

 

Anyways, I upped the max fan speed to 80% to see if that helps.

Yeah I’d say so. Have you tried checking it with HWinfo? That’s the only program I use now a days as it has just about everything listed with current avg and max amounts 

No cpu mobo or ram atm

Not yet...I'll have to download that tonight. More than likely, everything is normal...like I've said, I've experienced no crashes so thats a good sign...

Try that hwinfo app and see how the readings are on that. I remember hearing the default fan curves were pretty bad for temps on these cards so you might need to play around with that and find a good spot for temps and noise.
