Photoshop for iPad?

How much is it like the desktop program?

I have a 2019 iPad Air with Apple’s keyboard cover and would either look into getting a bluetooth mouse or an Apple Pencil but I wanna know if anyone’s used it, what’s it like. Is it worth switching from GIMP to Photoshop for purely personal use?

mostly just messing around with some airplane templates that are actually photoshop files. Maybe editing photos to make em funny lol 

or grabbing things out of an image to use in another image lol

What you want to do might actually be easier on the mobile/ipad version.

well the concern might also be precision lol
but uh I presume I can also make selections to alpha? at least I can in GIMP, I’m not sure what photoshop calls it or if they call it the same thing.

It's free to download.  I'd get it, try it and figure out what options you need and if they are worth the money.  

In the end you will either like it and use it or not like it and switch to a laptop or workstation.

alright @TheGlenlivet and @Slottr do either of you know if there’s a curvature pen in the iPad version of photoshop?

Doesn't look like it is.  Might have just found a reason to not buy it if that is a deal breaker.

Might be something that comes in a update, but I don't use PS on a daily basis and have never used the IPAD APP.  Not sure.
