?

i guess base your decision on looks, pricing etc.

one is 2.2kg but with the 2070 max-q, which is a bit slower.

the other one is 2.6.

what are the prices?

also check out the reviews:

(not quite exact model for the msi one unfortunately, but close enough)

Price for y740 is 2750 US dollars (discounted 2378 US dollars)

MSI is 2760 US dollars  (2366 US dollars)

the price is almost same but my concern here is regards to purpose I want to purchase is the durability, upgradability, and performance.

Battery life doesn't matter alot

weight can varies from 2kgs to 3kgs

I am looking for performance cum long lasting ( 3-5 years) oriented.

Budget is around 1,70,000 indian rupees

Honestly for that budget I would go for 2070

Asus G531GW: poor QC+aftersales, might require repaste (if GPU hot)

MSI GE63: questionable QC+aftersales, thick bezel (outdated design), might require repaste (if CPU hot)

I personally hate Macbooks so don't ask me for opinions

But do you really need the portability
