Proceeding with caution

So I been planning on upgrading my GTX 1070 into an RTX for a while now,  it's' been 1-2 years since they came out. Is there anything big coming in the coming months I should wait on or is RTX series still worth it?

We're about a few months out from the next Nvidia GPU release, so not tantalizingly close or anything. Waiting will always yield better hardware, but you can always wait. I'd look for a 2070 on clearance or something in the meanwhile.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Original RTX 20XX AKA Turing was released: September 20, 2018 , "Super" lineup came in July 2019.

i recommend you wait a couple of month, besides u got a 1070, should  keep u good till the 3000 comes out.

If you buy 2000 now, and the 3000 comes 4 month later, for the same price( HOPEFULLY)  i assure u , u will feel dumb xD, i almost pulled the trigger to buy a 2070 super last  week, then i remembered that its been 2 years since 2000 series and its about time for the 3000 to drop, i felt real dumb for almost buying it xD am sticking with my 1050 ti for now, going up to the 3070 would be a awesome upgrade for me :D
