Corsair RGB Fans

Lapjun
Go to solution Solved by RadiatingLight,

They use standard fan headers so they'll spin, but the RGB is proprietary to corsair I think.

If I buy the Corsair A500, and replace the two fans with Corsair ML120 Pro RGB fans, can I just connect them to my motherboard (Gigabyte z390 Aorus Pro Wifi) fan and 12v RGB sockets, or do I have to buy Corsair's seperate controller to even power them on?

Thanks.  So the only way I could match up my RGB is to buy Corsair's three pack of ML120 fans which comes with all the RGB controllers instead buying two separate fans.

Also, if I just plug them into the RGB headers, will they work but I cant control them?  Cause they have 12v headers.
