Killer E2205 vs Intel NIC at gigabit speeds

Geo2160

In my search for a new Z87 motherboard (I've got my eyes on the MSI GD65), I have reached the issue of the NIC. I have a gigabit internet connection at home and I don't know how these NICs handle the throughput, especially the Killer. I know everyone and their mom recommends Intel because of the drivers, but really few people have tested them with gigabit connections and so I'm kinda stuck. Is it worth giving up the GD65 and its amazing looks just for an Intel NIC?

Honestly, I wouldn't even worry about it. It should have no problems what so ever pushing gigabit. And trust me, Intel NIC's can easily handle gigabit. If you have problems, you have extra PIC-E slots available.

Well, I know that intel NICs can handle gigabit speeds. I was worried about the the Killer more. But I've already made my choice and I got an Intel NIC.
