Cooler master gets tired of telling parents about thermal compound, changes tube design

I'm not sure if Coolermaster is joining the ranks of Wendy or something but they've put out a tweet about a new thermal compound tube design because " we're getting tired of having to explain to parents that their kid isn't using drugs.".
Maybe we'll see less people complaining about youtubers applying paste wrong, one can hope atleast.

I always spread it a little, usually just by slapping the cooler on top of it and sliding it around a little.

Always funny when parents can't trust their kids when they say that tubes of thermal paste are actually tubes of thermal paste and not some mystery drug. Like come the fuck on, it isn't that hard to read the tube.

I bought some cheapo thermal paste when i was in high school and there was no label on it, i put them inside my drawer and my parents legitly believed is was drugs.

I almost get a beating.

Just to insert logic which I know is asking a lot sometimes. At a glance yes, the tube kinda looks like it could be a drug syringe. But as soon as you looks closer you should be able to tell its not as there is no needle.

I don't know about anyone else, but I keep a tube of MX-2 under my monitor for emergencies and nobody has ever questioned it before!

 

I feel like CM's post was more for the meme than anything else!

I would hope its more of a Meme but I sadly can see it actually being an issue depending on the person. These days it feels that we are lacking of logic skills as a society at least based on my observation.
