This acer monitor is not displaying anything

Did you cycle the inputs on the monitor?

yea, this monitor only works in the bios and windows safe mode. Ive tryed with a intel and amd system a gtx 970 and 1050. many versons of windows and nvidia drivers and reinstallled windows and the drivers multiple times

Then are you using an adapter? 
Also when you tried it on another card it was by itself?

Maybe try a different cable/port ? Possible the dvi connection is malfunctioning on the monitor. Could also explain why it's just picked up as a digital display. 

 

You can take the cable of your main monitor and just plug it in the Acer for example. If it then doesn't work you know the monitor is malfunctioning.
