Bent M.2. Should I RMA it?

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

As the title suggests, the back end of the board is bent upward. I don't know how this happened. My system has been having some BSOD issues recently. One was about a kernel access, one was about driver something or another. So I opened up my PC to see that the M.2 was bent. Should I RMA it?

A bend that tiny shouldn't cause any problems - my last motherboard was bent much more than that and that ran without issues.

IMO, if there was an issue, you would be experiencing massive data loss/corruption.

Bow down to me humans.

I can't help if you don't quote me. How am I supposed to know if you need my premium support? Now starting at £399.99 a year.

Also, be a sport and mark the correct answer as the correct answer. It will help pour souls in the future when they are stuck and need guidance.

My issue with it is that it's right on the flash. Knowing that they're soldered on using small beads kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
