Creator Laptop Ideas?

Go to solution Solved by genexis_x,

You don't have to spend so much then

With 1660Ti/2060, under $1500:

Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52-75DE / PH315-52-710B

Clevo NH58RCQ / NH58RDQ

Lenovo Legion Y740 15 customize (RTX)

Lenovo Legion Y540 15 81SX000LUS / 81SX00WMUS (no iGPU) / customize (no iGPU)

Thin and lights:

Eluktronics Max-15 (Tongfang GK5-Y, 2060 115W): lightest 15 inch gaming laptop

Eluktronics Mech-15 G2Rx (up to 2070MQ) / CyberpowerPC Tracer III 15Z Slim VR: (Tongfang GK5-Z)

EVOO Gaming 15 (Tongfang GK5-X): only $899

Consider only if MSI support is decent at where you live:

MSI GE65 9SD-432

MSI GP65 9SE-225 / 9SD-226

I’m still searching for a creator laptop.  I want there to be at least 128gb SSD with a 1TB HDD, 16gb of RAM,  at least a GeForce GTX 1660 ti,  Windows 10 Pro if possible and a 15.6” display.  I plan on spending no more than $1,800 or less hopefully.

I have several ideas:

Razer Blade 15 Base Model https://www.razer.com/gaming-laptops/razer-blade/shop. Possible the 144Hz version-https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X4C1PKX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_k8JhEb1J1N4ZV.

Lenovo Legion Y540 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VT4RJ51/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_y9JhEbK9659JG

Acre Predator Helios 300 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QXLFLXT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_j-JhEbTC71RPH

MSI GS65 Stealth https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZX1QSGK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1-JhEbCG56GGF

MSI P65 Creator https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TN4C5VZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_BaKhEbEXRY4RG

MSI Prestige 14 A10SC-020 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YTF9848/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_pbKhEbSWHQA3N

Alienware M15 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MHXNHFW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_D.JhEbXCED3BR

MSI GE63 Raider https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CCPF79Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7WMhEb0NVZTPP

Any help or opinions would be much appreciated!! Thank you!

PS- I’m not a gamer at all.

I’m in the United States.  I want it to be portable so I can take to school and other places but also powerful.  Battery life isn’t the biggest concern because I’ll almost always have a outlet.  I also want it to last for at least 4 years.

So I may be in the minority here, but I have had a Dell XPS 9570 15 going on 2 years now, and I have loved it ever since. The newer XPS line is great for creators IMO!

No more than 7-8 lbs I guess.  All SSD is fine but I’d rather there be an SSD and hard drive.

7-8 lbs isn't that portable IMO, are you sure with this max weight? Or prefer as low as possible?

Low as possible, to be honest I don’t really care as long as I can put it in a bag to travel with.

Thanks for the reply but I’m not the biggest fan of the Dell XPS 15.  Thanks for the advice!
