My case fans are squishing the USB 3.0 cable on my case is this bad?

PureEntertainer

Hey guys I was building a pc and I am waiting for my gpu and I was installing case fans and found no other way to install the top intake one unless I squish the USB3.0 cable. Is this bad will I have data loss if I transfer files onto a usb? Here's what I am talking about in the image

If it never ever moves and is currently working it will keep working.
But any movement does cause a little caution cus that cable wont be able to hold out for to long if moved a lot.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

It'll wear faster. Which could mean no more front-usb. But if that isnt a problem its fine really.

Yeah I will probably just connect to the motherboard usb ports if the front usb3.0 gets worn

Seeing its just a USB3 extender cable you might even be able to get it replaced for cheap-ish.

Like this but with other internal connector tho.

If it's working now, it'll be fine.  The cable wouldn't wear out unless it was moving around, and unless you're jamming USB devices in at full strength, it's unlikely that it will be moving at all.
