0 rpm mode

Mateus Montemor

Hi, really dumb question, but in order to mantain zero rpm mode in a custom fan curve (since default only goes up to 65%), do i only put 0 rpm until like 55C ( is what the default fan curve starts ramping up). My question is because i dont want to harm my hardware putting zero rpm in a custom curve

Your hardware won't start getting harmed until it reaches around 100C+, that said it normally can't maintain high clock speeds(and yes stock speeds are high) at temps above 60C normally.
No risk of damage just stability and performance at risk

My gpu supports 0rpm mode and I was checking today at what temps it starts spinning fans (need it for someone) 65c it starts doing anything with fans but even than it’s not much. Around 72c it’ll rump up to around 55%

I dont really like 0rpm mode.  Just my opinion.  I usually have it running at like 25%, and when it starts to get hot, it ramps up.

Everyone gonna have different opinion about it. I personally love it, pc is not so noisy and idle temps are not high
