CentOS Confusion of Installing

Go to solution Solved by Sauron,

Download the image that says "boot", for example from here http://mirror.init7.net/centos/8.0.1905/isos/x86_64/CentOS-8-x86_64-1905-boot.iso

That should give you the minimal image and fetch any extra packages you may want from the internet.

So I am following the LTT Forum guide on creating a VM which is based on the new video released today. I am planning to do this on my own VM at home. However, I am confused at CentOS.

I am on the CentOS page, and the CentOS iso's are like 6 GB +. All I need is SSH access to the server and the ability to run the VPN.

I believe I am doing something wrong since Ubuntu Server ISO is under 1 GB.

Let me know if I am doing anything wrong or the correct link.
