How come, people get smooth gameplay with under 60fps. ?

I see people record some stressfull games and with under 60fps, record a smooth game, with out lags?

Like this one here:

 

CPU - AMD 5800X , Motherboard - ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING , Memory  - G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 ,

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti MSI SUPRIM X 12G,  Case - 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Mid - Tower ATX Case - Black ,

Storage - Samsung 970 EvoPlus 500GB - Samsung 870 EVO 1TB + 6TB HDD,

The youtube compression and film software compression smooths out video, what you see on your screen is a far cry from what the actual video is irl.

0 difference, only way to see the true stutter is to upload the raw uncompressed video with the incorrect frame times, which youtube won’t allow.

Its not silky smooth, its as smooth as it should be...running at 40-42fps, even with this 30fps source encode he put on YouTube.

 

He could very well capture 30fps to show better frametimes than seen in game..

Its because of consistent frame times after rendering the video.  This is why 60FPS gameplay on youtube will always look smoother compared to 60 FPS real time gameplay.

When you,..or I are playing, our brain and hands..... is in the moment right?, feeling such heavier 30% drops to framerate (iE sudden frametimes), more impactful than just watching the smoothed out version on Youtube without interactive hands,.. also on the task...(in the moment also)
