Adobe Media encoder is using wrong GPU... WTF???!?!?!?!?!?

I told media encoder to export a few things... and for some reason its using my CPU's intergrated Graphicsimage.thumb.png.cc6f6184c4fed964a2bd3d06c735838b.png

I want it to use GPU 1 instead of GPU 0... I have it set to Mercury playback engine GPU Acceleration CUDA. And I set it to VBR 1 Pass... any suggestions... Cause this is gonna take a while on integrated graphics

Are you using the hardware accerlated encoding? If so that uses quicksync on the igpu on the gpu. Its still using cuda for effects that can use it. So yea, its using both of them, and this is the fastest way to render. You can try using nvenc to render with a plugin like Voukoder

It won't work well. your laptop probably uses optimus, so the igpu is the only gpu connected to the display. Your setup is already working in the fastest way.

Won't brick it, but it will be much worse, don't disable it. You need that igpu to use the laptop.

What model of laptop?

that seems like a optimus laptop, check control panel.

But encoding wise, it already running as expected, turing off the igpu will make it slower as it can't use hardware accerlated h264 rendering and would need to do it on the cpu.

But really, premiere is working as expected, turing off the igpu won't help you here.

Optimus will make it faster as it lets you using the igpu to speed up encodes.

Look at this

Using ths igpu is faster than not using it.
