Benchmark

Go to solution Solved by glenalz81,

There will more helpful guides on YT than what i can give.

As long as you have a decent Motherboard, PSU and good cooling you can defo pull out a good chunk more performance.

Is my system ok for a first time Build.

Did I benchmark and this is what I got.

Just wanted to see the feedback I get from it.

I know most games I will have to have them on low settings etc.....

If you have all stock settings then yeah, looks about right.

Overclocked though you could be looking at 10k in Firestrike and 4.5k in Timespy.

Removed. I missed the cpu and gpu descriptors in the pic.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Define OK.  Those Benchmarks are fine for many builds.  Doesn’t necessarily indicate a problem.  If the build is a 9900k with a 2080ti then yes, there is something wrong.  If it’s some quad core with a 7950 then no, you’re doing awesome.  Will it run games at 1080p acceptably on low settings? Most likely, depending on the game.

Yeh most games was on csgo but had to put the settings on medium and it ran fine.

I didn’t see that the hardware was mentioned in the screenshot.  My mistake.

I do want to go higher but not at the same time as it's my first build etc...

Wouldn't push the CPU too far on that motherboard.

GPU though, should be able to push that a bit.
