need laptop recommendation

I am looking for a new laptop to buy . but i am little bit confused which to buy or which one will be perfect for me.
i will use it for programming stuff and developing android apps, multitasking etc.

budget : $900-$1000(USD) 

OS : free dos 

weight : less than 2.5kg will be great

For programmers I'm always recommend computers as slow as possible - this way they must to optimize their code and people who will use their software will be happy. :)

 

But seriously - as software developer, you probably know best what do you need. Tell us what laptop do you think is good and for sure you'll get lot of alternatives here.

Actually I am not a software developer right now, thinking of future  I said about android apps development.
I am looking for Acer nitro series pcs .. is it ok? or which one will be best alternatives ?
