NVIDIA P2000 vs NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 vs RTX 2060

Hey Techies,

 

I am a 3d modeler/game developer. I'm working on my first PC build, but I'm stuck between GPU's. I just ordered the Ryzen 9 3900x for a CPU, and I'm still doing research on RAM and storage and the like, but I've included a list below of my current build specs, if you're interested in looking or need it for comparison reasons, etc. Anyway, I'll be modeling mainly in blender, as well as doing some rendering, sculpting in zbrush, I'll be doing game development in Unity, as well as some photo editing in Photoshop. Of course the best GPU one could get is probably the 2080 ti, but that is way outside of my price range. I'm really trying to stay in the $300 range, so the p2000 is probably the best quadro I could get, and the 1080 is probably the best GTX I could afford. The RTX line is also a contender, and it seems that the RTX 2060, is closest to my budget. 

 

I like the p2000 because it's geared towards artists, but it's kind of old at this point.

I like the 1080 because it's current, but it is at the top of my price range (possibly outside of it).

I like the 2060 because of it's ray tracing abilities.

 

Any help would be appreciated, guys.

I dont think so, at least the software you mentioned do not benefit from Quadro more than Geforce (assuming equal compute performance which is not the case here)

2060 imo makes more sense. Software you mentioned here are actually more CPU and RAM heavy so it's not about getting the faster GPU, but the more versatile one. I prefer the RTX features support here.
