Replaced cpu and pc won’t boot

So I replaced my i5 6600k for a i9 9900KF, my motherboard has power but when I press the power button get nothing my motherboard is a ASUS Z170 series and just in case my power supply is a EVGA supernova 850w G2 gold.

9th gen CPUs are not compatible with Z170 chipset.

The new 9th gen cpu you bought is not compatible with your current motherboard. Either keep your old cpu, buy a new motherboard, or buy a used cpu that will work with your current motherboard.
