NFS Payback usage

HardStroke

i play nfs payback on low settings with custom configurations in the .cfg file and im noticing that my cpu (i5 3550 ocd to 3.9ghz) runs at 70-90% and my gpu (GTX 650 leadtek 2GB) is running on 90-100%

is that normal that the CPU is running at 70-90%?

i know that i HAVE to replace my GTX 650 but is it THAT BAD?

4c/4t CPU is ancient by today standard imo, you can cap your FPS if you want lower CPU and GPU usage.

That game has horrible optimisation as it is and your specs are not doing it any favours.

I recently picked up NFS Heat and think it runs better imo, but it does use up a lot of cores.

Wow that's weird, Payback used to run fine on my old 4670K but Heat stutters on my 9900K lol

either you have an uncapped frame rate (turn on v-sync) or if it's already on, then you're at the limit of what your hardware is capable of. if you're able to stay at 60fps minimum, then usage doesn't actually matter
