VALVE SOURCE L4D2 on linux + POTATO

HI!. i saw a video with performance fps boost shock amazing. 

im running l4d2 on windows 7 to play online in a potato laptop amd e-300 .is playable 15-25 fps. but if i go to linux can i have a better gameplay?

 

or this is scam?

Considering there's no context to that image, it's hard to say. In any case, the first Left 4 Dead is barely playable on an E1-1200, much less an E-300, so you aren't getting anywhere with L4D2 on any OS.

L4D2 is pretty small download, right? If you really wanted to give it a go, drop Ubuntu or Mint onto a USB stick. Install Steam and give it whirl. Like Handy said though, there's no context on that image. So I'd deffo take that FPS bump with a grain of salt and 'user experience may vary' stamp.
