Anyone know the specific time for the ending?

I assume it will be when the WAN show starts, as I assume that's when the giveaway will be, but I'm not entirely sure. .

The shows has always started at 4:30 PST, but Torroto is in EST which is 3 hours ahead of PST (So it's 7:30 EST). Below is a link with the countdown with the right time ;)

They won't do the giveaway on the WAN Show because, if the end time for entries is the start of the WAN show then during the WAN show while presenting etc they will have to go through tabulate all the entries and then do the random draw. That is not an easy task especially when there are as many entries as there are for the Crate AIO PC I would imagine the cut off for entries is quite literally 28th so as soon as it becomes 1st March any entries will not be valid and Linus or Slick or both will probably do the draw over the weekend in a video or something similar.

It would be awesome for it to be during the WAN show I just don't think its realistic.

I'm fairly sure they don't write down every contestant, they could just use something like this http://www.sandracires.com/en/client/youtube/random.htm. As for contests 2 and 3, they probably have a list of all the people, since there aren't too many and they confirmed each submission.

I'm just guessing though, and what you're saying makes sense, I'm just not sure how they run the contest.

They will definitely use something like the link you provided but having to verify it etc takes time. (time I don't think they will spend the WAN show on) especially when they could do a separate video. With 2 and 3 they have a list already as everyone entering that had to email Linus proof so they were checked as they were entered and confirmed by Linus via email.

who won the first giveaway?

It hasn't been drawn yet. Competition closed at 0000 Linus Time so we will probably find out in about a week or 2.
