Ssd Vs Hdd

Im planing to make a new rig however im stock i dont know if i get a 120 SSD and 3 TB HDD.

    So my qwestoin is if i have my Windows 8 on SSD and my games on the HDD will it still make my game fastter or even i have a SSD and my games is not in it it well not make my game fastter?

Solution: install games you play frequently on SSD, rest on HDD.

We can't do that; it's not that simple.

With your operating system on an SSD, Windows is faster. With applications on an SSD, applications are faster. With games on an SSD, loading times are improved and that's pretty much it.

Put games with long loading screens, such as Skyrim, on your SSD, along with your operating system and applications.

 

If you can't fit games on your SSD, you won't see a difference with a HDD other than loading times.

 

The answer to your question is both faster and not faster.

As has been said, loading times will improve.  Framerates/Game Performance will be unaffected.
