What brand of fans do you have in your case?

Fans for cpus tend to have more static pressure to push air through the fins.

And regular fans use dynamic pressure? What does this mean specifically?

Sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions, but I'm not really that knowledgable when it comes to PC fans. The build I'm planning this year will be my very first build and so there are some areas that I'm not quite familiar with yet.

No. Dynamic pressure is an entirely different thing altogether.

Other fans tend to be more open for airflow and blow more air everywhere by using more fins that are wider apart.

No... Airflow moves more air but pressure is needed in cramped spaces like for a heatsink. It depends on the scenario.

I use a mixture of Corsair SP120 and AF120/140

1x default fan that came with Corsair H60 (rear exhaust)

1x BitFenix Spectre Pro 120mm green (bottom intake)

1x Aerocool Shark 120mm blue (top exhaust)

1x Aerocool Shark 140mm blue (top exhaust)

1x ThermalTake 120mm blue (default) (front intake)

Stock case fan, Nidec PSU fan, Cooler Master CPU fan.

 

My Dell has one of those super crazy blower style ones.

I don't think so. In my vast years of computing I have never had a hard drive overheat and the summers here in California can go as high as 105-110 degrees.

I have Corsair fans in my C70 right now that came with the H100i, the case, and a few that my friend gave me. I have a 200m BitFenix fan that I am going to put into the Corsair 250D when it comes out.

Ah! Okay. Well I'll skip that one then.

You think 105-110°F is hot, and of course it is, but here in Australia this year and years past we've had temperatures as high as 50°C or 122°F. Quite warm.
