What is your experience with igpu passthrough?

As in if you have a Vega or intel igpu and hook the monitor up to that as main driver, then have a beefy secondary card (I.e. 1060 gtx) which you assign games to. 

 

Notice latency ? Stuttering? Fps drops compared to directly hooking big gpu to monitor? With what setup?

Not sure if this counts as igpu pass-through but I think it does.

I have 2 monitors. I get better performance with both hooked into the GFX card than trying to run 1 from GFX card and 1 from igpu.

Why would you do that, unless you are trying to run with i.e P106, a mining card? But as @keskparane said, you'll get better perfomance, when just running directly to GPU.

Yeah, you'll get about half the fps at best.

But yeah, you're right, the main focus would be a P106 or similar.

I however tried with Intel HD 630 & Radeon HD 7770, and CSGO ran like balls for some reason. 
Haven't tried CSGO through the vega card (2400G) yet. 

Done Resident Evil 2 using P106 through 2400G, seems to be working really well. But that's 60 FPS, not something crazy like 300

Well on a laptop it makes sense to not use the discrete GPU when unneeded to save battery, but on a desktop it's pretty pointless and isn't worth the compromise. You're not buying a high end GPU to use only half of its performance.

Where do you get the numbers that you get half the performance? Have you seen a video or another source, I'd love to see it. (Not sarcastic)

iGPU from 7700K and a GTX 1070, don't remember what game I tried since it was a year or so ago and I just tried a minute or 2 since the result was obviously uninteresting, and apart from curiousity there was no point in doing it in the first place.

I've been trying to do this with my HD4000 + 980 Ti but never able to do it. Would love to let my HD4000 process browser hardware acceleration instead of my 980 Ti.

I'm going to try it out using Ryzen at some point. I already have a P106-100 running on it? But haven't benchmarked or anything yet.

Hmm, unfortunately I don't think 3xxx intel CPU's support this "feature" ? :( 
Is there no graphics options for you when you go in?

It was there but it either show my HD4000 or GTX 980 TI for both option depend on how i connect the display.

Yeah, windows does the same thing if you add two descreet GPU's I think :D
