How to reset a motherboard

Go to solution Solved by Husky,

You can reset the UEFI settings (clear CMOS) by one of the following methods:

1. Go to the Exit tab in the UEFI and select Load Optimized Defaults.

2. Press the Clear CMOS button on your motherboard (if it has one).

3. Unplug the computer and remove the coin cell battery on the motherboard for a few minutes and then reinsert it.

So I don't know much about computers so I want to know if there is any way on how to reset my motherboard manually from the motherboard itself.   (Asus ROG Z370-F)

If your motherboard doesn’t have a clear cmos button it will have to pins you short while the computer is turned off and unplugged (at least that’s how it works on mine).
