Prime B350-Plus compatibly with Ryzen 3 1200

Hello all,

I was wondering if the Ryzen 3 1200 will work with the Prime B350-Plus straight out of the box? I’ve heard other motherboards needed a BIOS update with a different CPU but I only have a Ryzen 3 1200 available. If it doesn’t, could you list a motherboard that has DDR4 and AM4 support which will work with a Ryzen 3 1200 out of the box, that’s the same price as the Prime B350-Plus..?

It should work right out of the box since it’s a first gen Ryzen CPU and a Mainboard that released alongside first gen Ryzen.

Do you have both on your hand right now?

Yes it will.

Only when pairing a newer gen CPU with a older gen board is that a possible issues.

Tht there is 1st gen board with 1st gen CPU.
