question for dual channel

hi guys i got a question for this since my motherboard is very old b75m hd3 gigabyte and it only got 2 ram slot  is it always running dual channel what ever memory i put on the ram slot like 1 4gb 1 8gb  ???

Yea, if you have two different sticks with different speeds, the pair will run at the lowest speed. If you are in need of new RAM, now is a great time to buy RAM is very cheap right now
