Corsair H100i max fan power draw

Recommended Posts

Hello!
I have a Corsair H100i RGB Platinum cooling a Ryzen 7 2700x in a NZXT H510i currently in a pull config.

I want to add another set of ML120 fans to the front of the rad to do a push pull config to increase the air flow into the case. I would like to have them controlled at the same time by the icue software but do not want to add a commander pro to control the additional fans. What I'm thinking of doing is to get 2 y-adapters for the fan power and split off the power leads from the h100i pump. Would 2 additional fans exceed the power output on the h100i or should I be okay power draw wise?

You are perfectly okay to get another y-splitter and plug in another 2 fans.

A standard ML120 PRO can draw 0.225A each whereas a ML120 PRO RGB is a tad less at 0.219A. Four of no matter what the mix draws less than 1A so you should be safe.
