Is my Power supply good enough for my build?

Robin_Code

Hi,

I had an arguement with a friend telling me I should upgrade my Power supply... I just bought all the items and I have 20 days left to return. Should I upgrade or not?

Estimated wattage by PC part picker:

319 Watt

My build:

It's only used for 1080p (maybe 1440p if manageable) World of Warcraft and recording myself play to improvise.

Hello,

It's an excellent unit more than capable for that build and the price is just incredible (usually around 80-90€).

Thank you! I got a good black friday deal :)

It's more than plenty. PCPP's wattage calculator is useless, just ignore it. The PC should use closer to 200W under a gaming load. The RMx is a good PSU, and for €55 it's a steal

yeah true 55 for RMX man. never lucky enough to get rmx for that price lol

yea it's a good PSU, i imagine your friend wanted you to get a 750 watt instead because "more is better"

my 2080 and ryzen 7 2700x aren't even close to using 750

i can be streaming 1440p 60 fps on twitch whilst playing world of warcraft classic and be standing in the human capital with an insane amount of mages and warlocks spamming aoe abilities and watching youtube videos on another 1440p monitor and reading discord messages on the third one.

i'm using my gpu and cpu a lot but i've never come anywhere close to the 750
