Easy way to reach my fan header?

redbread123

Alright I have a z390 aorus elite, and I installed everything except the rear fan which isn't spinning because it was really hard to get to the fan header (under cpu power and crammed between io ports and cooler and mobo vrm heatsinks) is there an easy way to do this, like maybe tape the fan header to a screw and insert it and pull the screw out? help, and also I have a fan plugged into cpu_opt for one of my fans. the fan header that I described is the only one left, so please help?

This type of application (in that spot) takes finesse and the right tools (or a lot of frustration, then purchase a header splitter cause F that lol)

This is why you plug the cables to everything on the MB before put the MB+CPU into the chassis.

The preferable option at this point is to use needlenose pliers, the tip of wire stripper/cutters/crimpers, or even tweezers. Just don't use anything used on food.
