Best bang for the buck gaming laptop 2019

I was convinced that it is better to buy a gaming laptop rather than to build one cause one, it is convenient for travelling since I am still a student and two, for school works. Since I work mostly with 3d rendering, autocad and gaming. I looked into the Acer helios predator 300 2019 (blue one) and was kinda thinking which is better for long term use, Helios predator 300 2019 or the lenovo y540/y720. My budget is around 1200$

you can get a much better laptop by buying an older processor model. there isnt a huge increase in performance and the the helios model for low end will have a poor performing new processor

is a really good value for the price. 2070 GTX will have better performance for games, autocad specific to your workload compared to a 1660 TI
