Looking for a sound card upgrade

I usually use Loudness Equalisation when listening to anything but music. From what I can tell, external sound cards don't have the option, are there any that offer software control or anthing?

 

BTW I'm planning to get Audio Technica M50x headphones, hence the upgrade from onboard audio.

No need for soundcard upgrade for m50x, but im sure you can find eq software.

sound is superior to every high end mobo sound implementatio and every soundcard on the market. and it can drive real hardcore headphones 

but it’s overkill for MX50

Yeah gotta aggre with the others when you get into better headphones or harder to drive ones then that is when we can look into better source gear
