Buy a smaller one Second hand on eBay or similar , far far far better option.

I’m trying not to buy another one cuz I’m using a broken one anyways

You can't really cut it, because that would damage the wiring. Unless you know exactly where the traces run and how each pixel is wired up, you'll most likely kill it. Along with making it smaller, you'd also end up with a lower, possibly non-standard, resolution. I'm sure the display controller wouldn't like that either.

 

There's also chemicals in there that are potentially hazardous if ingested/inhaled, so you'd have to be extra careful not to produce "dust" while cutting that you might inhale.

L in LCD stands for liquid. They are made to size, if you break the seal for it, then it will not work period. Thats also why cracked LCD is not going to be revived.
