My RTX 2060 is GREATLY underperforming and I can't figure out why

Depressed Cowboy

I recently upgraded from a 1060 6gb to a EVGA 2060 SC, all my games are running at higher fps but not as big of an increase as I was expecting. Went to userbenchmark and it was getting less than 70% when the average is 85% (literally says it's in the 2nd percentile). I have all drivers up to date, did a bios update since I last did one in 2017 and have windows on high performance, I don't know what could be throttling it.

Userbenchmark is trash and should NEVER be used as a benchmark. Do 3dmark or Heaven Benchmark.Generally it would be a simple booster, you shouldnt be expecting THAT much of a increase.

everything is in the userbenchmark, I don't know too much about gpu throttling but my psu is only 650 watts could that affect it?

Your psu isnt the issue. Most computers are around 300-400 watts at most, 2060 and your CPU do not use that much power :)

Userbenchmark is Straight Garbage and should NEVER be used to compare hardware. Use actual legitimate benchmark software that have Legit integrity and no a trashy one that has almost no value. Heaven benchmark, 3d Mark and more then compare

Nope, it's not. That's why I need to ask.

Or show screenshot of CPU-Z in memory tab

I'm suspecting your RAM and CPU to hold the GPU back, 1st gen do badly with high frame rates which is also why canned benchmarks do not do the GPU justice.
