From my research, these cards don't really make sense anymore. The Super variants of both cards are similar prices, but with higher performance.

I would get a 2060 Super, 5700, 5700XT or perhaps even 2070 Super if you want to spend the money.

The i7 7700 is a good match for either GPU (or the 5700XT ;) ).

The 2060 Super has similar performance as compare to the 2070 (non Super), while the 2070 Super has similar performance as compared to the 2080 (non Super).

This should give you some idea of the performance of the cards:

This is at 4K by the way.

As you can see, the 5700 is trading blows with the 2060 Super, while the 5700XT is on par/below the 2070 Super. Depending on the pricing though, it could make sense as a card.

5700xt or if your budget is more constrained a 5700. In most markets that's more bang for your $ or whatever you pay in :).

AMD usually had better raw compute power.

Depends heavily on the used programs.

But I assume OP wont need cuda nor any other heavy compute

shittt i dont know what to get

how much budget and where are you buying?

I strongly recommend 5700(XT) for the price/perf and XT is actually between 2070 and 80 in most games, but CHEAAAPER :D
Get the Nitro+ or Red devil (best coolers and especially the RD is not that expensive.

All cards mentioned here are fine with your i7 however.

AAAND plz. dont be like "meh diriver problems on the AMD navi cards" they are over :)

For CS:GO it really doesn't matter what you get.

Those other games do need a bit of performance. This the sheet edited to show 1080p numbers:

image.png.cc99522ed175dab677cae871d09a5120.png

Looks like 5700XT and 2070S will give you closest to 144fps in most games, although this is at Ultra settings, which usually looks the same as High, but has lower performance.

I would just check pricing and decide it more from that.

@Metallus97 im willing to spend 410$ exact :D the reason i dont like the 5700 is because the minimum, average and maximum fps is all over the place and i feel like this could be choppy and could mess with the 144hz

well no! Those tests where done without AMD Anti lag and freesync for better compability

enable it and the problem is solved. Also those numbers where recorded with early drivers. Wont happen and you won’t notice :)
