So I got a new harddrive today and didnt have anymore screws to screw it into the bay securely who likes my solution?

looks do not matter because the hdd is inside the case

its the same as rgb does not matter one bit

I have to like it.

I have a SSD attached in this fashion, though I did use gaffers tape.  Mine didn’t come with screws either.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Looks like you covered the pressure valve, not gonna last long if you don't fix that.

 

EDIT: I know this sounds like a joke, it's not! Hopefully OP sees this.

This post interests me because I did something much like it too.  My tape is over the front of an SSD sticking it to the carrier tray.  Might I have the same sort of problem?

Nope, you're good! Only spinning drives need air pressure equalization.
