Time for new stuff.

IkeaGnome

So here about a week ago, in a drunken rage, I finally broke my Razer Naga. It lasted 2 years, the left mouse button finally stuck and about the third time around, it got smashed on my desk wires first. Dead right away. Before this turns into a "Razer QC" discussion, I've had very good luck with their peripherals. My mouse lasted 2 years and would have kept on going if it was for me, my Black Widow Chroma has also lasted the same amount of time.

I really enjoyed the size and feel of the Naga. I'm not sure how to describe my grip. I tend to use fingertips, but the right side of my hand rests on the mouse. Right ring finger on the right button, and the pad of my pinky behind it on the body. Needless to say, I'm currently in the market for a mouse similar. I'm not against changing brands by any means, but I live in a place with very few shops that have mice that you can actually try. For the most part here it's Walmart, Best Buy and Office Depot that have mice. Mouse feel is more important to me than RGB. 2 side buttons, or more without the mouse being huge is also a must. I had a Red Dragon MMO mouse with the full 10 key on the side and it was just too much. I could move it fine, but it was obnoxious.

My Black Widow has the Razer Green switches. The feel is about right for me, but I can't stand how loud they are. Never have. I don't use the Macro "M" keys hardly ever. I do occasionally, but can do without them. A 10 key is a must, and media controls are a huge +. Once again, RGB isn't a big deal, but a back lit keyboard is a must. I've eyed the Duckys and some Corsairs, but could use some recommendations.

As far as back story goes, I tend to play a lot of FPS and the actuation points on the Razer Greens are nice and something with a switch similar would be nice, but I can learn new switches. I'm not that well versed in peripherals. My Razer stuff, not happy to admit, was a "fan boy, this stuff will make me a lot better" purchase.

Also, not really in the market per say, but any recommended head sets? Over ear, integrated mic, mic volume adjustment, and I like bass. Just looking for some to keep an eye out for on sale.

Thanks

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.
