GPU price went up 100$ within a week?

Hey!

 

I didnt know what to name the title.

 

But recently I bought a 1660Ti off Amazon for around $310 (Cad) During Black Friday sales (Original price was $370 CAD), I was hesitant on buying it but it was cheaper then most 1660s so I thought why not.

The card was currently out of stock, but said they would be back in stock December 3-4th. So after that I went back onto Amazon to look and the price went from $370 to $420, then a bit after that it now says they are no longer in stock and you can buy from 3rd party sellers for $490-$510.

 

What might be the reason for this? Supply and Demand? or Selling old stock? Its a pretty new card so I am not sure.

Prices skyrocketed since Black Friday. It's the basic economic concept, supply and demand curve.  Wait a while until demand dives down or supply catches up.
