Louqe Ghost S1 build

Hi,

I am currently planning a new build for myself.

Now going for a small formfactor case, and want the best setup with the least sound.

Hope someone have some good tips for me when it comes to what changes I could do, or if this is a good enough setup.

My main question is the CPU, I am a bit uncertain if I should go for the Ryzen 3700x or just go for a lower end Ryzen 2700x.

I currently have a Intel i7 7700k, but want something better (ofcourse).

Never built with AMD before, so do anyone know how delidding / luiquid metal could work / help with the temp ?

All tips and advices are taken with great pleasure! :)

Gaming, some photo editing and 3d modeling. But mostly gaming.

The SSD I allready have, parts like the gpu, ram, ssd and motherboard I have.

When it comes to the prices, I live in Norway, so the prices are quite different (read more expensive). This is more for me to nail down the spesific parts for myself.

Plouffe:

Nice!

Ill have a look at those, if I can get them from the store and whatnot :P

Been looking at the corsaid drives as well, might change the M.2 I have for one of those! Like the added space.

Then you can probably do just fine with a 3600. With the money saved, get a larger SSD. If you only have a 250GB drive, it'll be filled before you know it.

Oh, painfully aware.

I have some other regular SSDs lying around, but I doubt I will fit much in to the new case.

Ill check the prices on the 3600 then!

Thank you for the input :) Much appreciated! :)

I'd also look into a SATA SSD. You'll generally get way more capacity, especially over a 970 Evo, and I highly doubt you'd notice a speed difference in daily use.
