Help finishing up PC build

Tori924

Hello,
I've decided to build myself a PC for this upcoming holiday season and I'd appreciate some help completing it.

Here is list of parts I've already decided to have in it https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XHkgBZ

I really don't know what motherboard I should get for this configuration, and what would be good for cooling?

As for case I'd like something that would fit this snugly not impossibly tight and no major gaping holes.

Also is that power supply too much? I just chose something that looked like it would have no problem handling this build.

Thanks in advance.

1) If you really want 32gb of ram, is better 2x16gb than 4x8gb.

2)PSU may be a little over of what you need but nothing too extreme. 600~650W should be enough.

3) For a motherboard, the most common recomendation is B450 Tomahawk MAX (all MAX boards are compatible with Ryzen 3xxx right out of the box).

4) You really don't need the Ryzen 3600X. Is, at most, 2~3% better than the non X variant. Is not worth it.

I've adjusted as per your suggestions.

Do you have any case recommendations?

I'm sorry but I know nothing about cases. I have Corsair 275Q (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/kcprxr/corsair-carbide-series-275q-atx-mid-tower-case-cc-9011164-ww).

It's a mid-tower case, without windows (I don't like RGB so the quiet and simple, the better). Has dust filter on top and in the bottom, all black. If you like that kind of stuff, I recomend it.

Sorry I don't know more about cases, man!

Mainly gaming with light work which won't be a factor.

You don't need 32GB RAM then. And probably don't need a HDD either. You're in US, right ? Do you have access to Microcenter location ?

I'm from EU, linked US because I had that one opened.

RAM yea I should go for 16 with better timings.
