Looking for a new monitor (40"+ 2160p)

My current monitor is a Philips BDM4065UC that I've had since 2015, I love it but I want VRR (and maybe HDR).

 

I bought an Asus TUF Gaming VG35VQ on Black Friday but I'm returning it since as soon as I unpacked I knew that Ultrawide ain't for me.

At least not in that size and resolution.

 

So what I'm looking for is a monitor that's at least 40", 3840x2160 with VRR (VESA Adaptive Sync or G-Sync), 75Hz or better is preferred but not a must and HDR is a bonus.

 

My budget is around $1000

WS: 13900K - 128GB - 6.5TB SSD - RTX 3090 24GB - 42" LG OLED C2  - W11 Pro
LAPTOP: Lenovo Gaming 3 - 8GB - 512GB SSD - GTX 1650

NAS 1: HP MicroServer Gen8 - 32TB - FreeNAS

NAS 2: 10400F - 44TB - FreeNAS

The XG438Q from ASUS can be had for around 1000

Sadly not here in Sweden.

It's around $1420 here.
