New Monitor Time

REPO

Hope this is an easy one for someone

I currently have the Asus XG248

1920x1080 240hz 1ms

27in which is a TN panel

Looking at doing a

3440x1440 120Hz 4ms 2ms if messing with setting

34in curved IPS panel

Worth doing or is my monitor all you would need for the gaming only aspect

2080TI card

TIA

Look at these monitors:

Acer Predator X34

LG 34GK950G

Asus ROG SWIFT PG349Q

Alienware AW3420DW

And to answer your question, it depends on what games you play. If you play Esports games like CS:GO and Overwatch, the 240hz monitor you have is perfectly fine.

If you want a monitor that has better colors and you play a bunch of single-player games like RTS's or RPGs, it would be worth changing to an IPS monitor, though you don't need an Ultrawide 34" Curved to achieve that

So 90% of the time I play APEX or COD, then PUBG OverWatch
