DeepCOOL RGB Convertor 5V to 12V RGB

Quick Question 
i have CPU cooler which is 4 pin and my mobo doesnt have ARGB or 12v GRB socket
 quick question can i power this coverter to sata only?
can i add 3 pin into this converter from my fan hub (which support 3pin ARGB) which is idle at the back of my case so that i will sync my case rgb and cpu cooler rgb

4 pin is normally 12v rgb and 3 pin is 5v argb. deep cool convertor takes an argb device and connects it to a 4pin 12v rgb header on the mb. your argb device will act like rgb but not all work with this adapter. it can flicker or not work at all.
