What's the best plan of action?

I have 130$CAD, and I'm wondering what I should upgrade.

Specs:

msi gaming x trio 2080super

ryzen 5 2400g

8gb ddr4 3000mhz ram

msi b450 tomahawk

2 2tb hard drives (one 7200rpm, other idk)

phanteks p300 (no added case fans, just rear exhaust that came with it)

I'd like to not have to keep saving, but if there's an upgrade a little out of reach that would be way more worth the money, I will try

Was the 2080S recent? Rest of the spec looks unbalanced.

SSD for sure if its not running hot.
Thats the last bottleneck, you always waiting on your HDD now.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

my computer is certainly hotter than it should be, so i'm probably gonna get some case fans for now. Only problem with SSDs are, I'm a "go big or go home" type of guy and I'd like to buy a big one to completely take the swap over, but I also have 3tb of info I don't wanna lose. (also i have no clue how to transfer files from one storage device to another, or if it's even possible)

Anybody would advise against that with the idea in mind they deteriorate overtime. Unlike HDD's (which also deteriorate but differently).
I would go for a combo. spend 30 bucks on fans and 100 bucks on OS NVME boot drive. get something like a Samsung 970Evo+. The difference from mechanical storage to that drive is a world of difference.

(Its the first thing i do to make a slow (old) computer faster, put an SSD in. That like going from 1990's loadtimes straight into 2019. :D_

don't get the samsung, it's overpriced. for 100 you could get a 500gb drive which should be enough for OS and a few programs  and games

Yes but since i read what (s)he types that drive isnt a bad idea. Its about the fastest you can get for reasonable price.
Altho it could be larger in space, but thats a different discussion.
