RTX 2080Ti and RTX quadro 4000 in the same machine

Hey All!

I'm an Architect who does complex modelling on Rhino and grasshopper and often render on vray.

I already have a build with the following spec.

Processor: Ryzen 9 3950x

Ram: gskill tridentz Neo 3600 CL16 32 GB

Motherboard: MSI creation x570

Graphics: MSI trio 2080 Ti

I was wondering if anyone has been able to use quadro and geforce cards on the same machine.

Since quadro is better in viewport performance when working with complex models. I would like to fit in one. And then use my 2080 Ti for rendering and gaming. Is this even possible? Secondly how will this work? Say if I need to game will I have to switch my video output from quadro to 2080ti everytime?

Hello,

I don't know if it's possible but if it is, you will have to switch between both all the time.
