Hello all,

 

I have installed OpenWRT on my new router and configured the LAN and Wireless networks. The OpenWRT router is connected to a DSL router and uses this router to get internet connection from. It uses 192.168.1.192 to connect to the DSL router. The OpenWRT router's LAN IP is 10.230.0.1 and devices connected to it, wired or wirelessly, get a 10.230.0.X IP address and the internet works, which is what I want. However, I wanted a Guest Wi-Fi network that has access to the internet, but is completely isolated from the 10.230.0.1 network, and uses a different range, such as 10.0.0.1. How would I do this in OpenWRT? Do I need a VLAN? I really don't know much about VLANs, and my networking knowledge is about average. I'd appreciate any help.

Which step are you referring to, exactly? Are you using the command line, or the webinterface?

I'm using the web interface. Nevermind, the interface is configured below. I completely missed that bit. Thanks.
