Case Fans

Guest

Hey everyone, what would you recommended for 120mm case fans that come in blue led?

the case is a deep cool TESSERACT SW (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1251372-REG/deepcool_tesseract_sw_tesseract_mid_tower_case_black.html/specs).

Was thinking about getting Corsair Air Series AF120 (https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-AF120-Quiet-High-Airflow/dp/B00F6S10KK/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=CORSAIR%2BAF120&qid=1575058243&s=electronics&sr=1-2&th=1)

but noticed the edges of the mounts stick out quit far and I'm not sure if they will fit on the top or the side panel. Also, they seem to be 3 pin so I assume no fan control then?

I'd recommend buying noctua fans, as they are very high quality and silent.

Then, slapping on some Phanteks Halos (either the lux variant or the standard ones. Lux requires rgb header on mobo and can use the rainbow mode, normal ones can be controlled by your case if you have rgb controller and does not support rainbow)

The noctuca fans are brown or grey, would they still be able to reflect the color from the rgb frame?

I've seen the Corsair fans and the light is really dim

Check out the Deepcool fans

https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-RF120M-Compatible-Controlled-Motherboard/dp/B07R1J94S4?th=1

or the Thermaltake Riing

https://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Pressure-Circular-Anti-Vibration-CL-F038-PL12BU/dp/B00VRKVGP0

seen both and their light is a bit more bright

Thanks! These deepcool fans seem perfect for the setup. :)

Sorry late response, yes they reflect very well. Corsair fans arent bad in any way, but imo not as good as noctua. It all depends on your budget and how important function is vs looks.
