Corsair keyboard software does massive amounts of disk IO??

pkillboredom

Hello folks, just hoping to get a PSA out there that Corsair's keyboard software soaks resources, and specifically it's pretty taxing in terms of disk I/O. If you're using an older CPU, as this family member's FX 8350 is, you could notice serious performance penalties from all the context switching overhead. There was pretty inexcusable performance in Source titles on this system until I killed the ICue process and disabled Corsair's system services.

I don't know how you make keyboards this poorly performant, but Corsair found a way.
